Our team consists of dedicated individuals that have a passion for helping your horse(s) feel their absolute best!
Sunset Reins Equine Center, LLC is located on a farm just outside of Deer River, Minnesota. The northern Minnesotan property is based on family values and has been in the family for over 100 years.

Owners Sally Evans, Holly Hron, and Amanda Wright have come together to bring a unique facility to the equine community. While Holly Hron (Certified Veterinary Technician and Certified Equine Rehabilitation Assistant) and Amanda Wright (Exercise Physiologist and Certified Equine Rehabilitation Assistant) focus on Equine Rehabilitation, Sunset Reins Equine Center, LLC also works with veterinarians and equine professionals to offer a variety of equine services at one safe and functional location.

Meet our team:
Holly Hron, BASVT, CVT, CERA, FFCP (Veterinary - Equine)

Holly has been a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2010. She holds an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology (Duluth Business University, 2010), as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology (Penn Foster College, 2025). Holly's passion for horses led her to become certified in Equine Rehabilitation through the Animal Rehabilitation Institute in 2020.
Amanda Wright, EXP, CERA, CEKTT

Amanda received her Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology through the College of St. Scholastica in 2013. Since then, she has worked as a fitness instructor in a therapeutic setting. Amanda received her certification in Equine Rehabilitation and Equine Kinesiology Taping in 2021 through the Animal Rehabilitation Institute. Amanda is excited to use her knowledge to help equine and human patients alike.
Sally Evans
Sally and her husband, Darryl, opened up their hearts and home to the public to make this dream come true. A dream dedicated to helping the equine community. Sunset Reins Equine Center, LLC is located on their beautiful farm, which has been in the family for over 100 years.

Dr. Selleck, DVM*, CERT
Dr. Briana Selleck graduated from the University of Illinois - College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She moved to the area in 2017 and, shortly thereafter, decided to pursue the Animal Rehabilitation Institute's Certified Equine Rehabilitation Therapist program. She looks forward to sharing knowledge and helping the equine community thrive.

* Dr. Selleck is the owner of 317 Equine Care, and is currently providing equine veterinary and rehabilitation services in the Grand Rapids area.


Ted Hron, Farrier
Teddy started his farrier journey more than 20 years ago. He has apprenticed with a number of Certified Journeyman Farriers over the years. Teddy continues to pursue knowledge in the farrier field by regularly attending continuing education courses. He looks forward to providing high-quality hoof care for your equine partner.
